Dear readers,

I thought I'd give you a quick update on where things are. The Jungle Scandals manuscript is with our copy editor getting its second of three rounds of edits, and Elena Ominetti is hard at work on the interior illustrations. We have seen her concept art for all twelve stories, and her work is so amazing! We can't wait to see the finished art.

Right now, I have a little bit of down time while I'm waiting for everything to come back, so I've been working on my next book as author. It's going to be the third book in the Action Girls trilogy, which starts with Jungle Jitters and then Into the Bush. Book three is almost done, but I don't want to announce it until after Jungle Scandals is published. But, if you haven't read the Action Girls books yet, now is the time to get started! And please leave some reviews. As you can see, both books need them.

Once our copy editor is done with the manuscript, we will apply his notes and get working on the third round of edits. By the time the third round is complete, the illustrations should be finished too. Then, we will format the manuscript and size the cover, create the eBook and fulfill digital backer rewards, and order proof copies of the physical book. The proof copies should take a few weeks to arrive, and once they are approved, which will hopefully be sometime in the second half of June, we will send out the paperbacks and hardcovers to backers. Once we have an idea of when the Kickstarter backers will get their books, we will announce a commercial release date.

So, as you can see, we have a busy June ahead of us.
